Nick Grimshaw – host of The Radio 1 Breakfast Show, and a judge on the xFactor, he did an Internship at @MTV. Mr Grimshaw attended the University of Liverpool between 2003 and 2006, studying Communication and Media Studies, graduating with a DipHE rather than a bachelor’s degree.
Rachel Riley – before she appeared on Countdown, she did an Internship in The City at Deutsche Bank during a university vacation, but did not like the experience, explaining that she “..simply didn’t like the environment..”, and after university worked as an analyst for a price-comparison website.
Kate Middleton – before becoming the Duchess of Cambridge, she graduated from University of St Andrews, studying Art history. She hoped to start an online business selling children’s clothes. Her plan fell through when a major partner withdrew. She ended up working as an Intern as an assistant buyer for Jigsaw, women’s clothing concern, but she left and went to work for her parents’ company.
Zoella – is now one of a new breed of online celebrities of YouTube, Zoe decided to forgo university in favour of an Internship at an interior design company and then, in search of a creative outlet, she ventured into the world of blogging.
Millie Mackintosh – ex Made in Chelsea star and now an established fashion fitness and beauty icon, who Interned as a PR for Glamour Magazine.
