Job Description
A value-added distributor and leading service partner to the IT Channel industry are looking for an ambitious sales-driven graduate.
The position would involve account management, seeking opportunities for new products, existing customers, and potential ones too. This is backed up by an in house technical team to assist in securing sales.
Tasks and responsibilities will be:
• Work with Sales Director on communication strategies.
• Maintain strong existing business relationships, gaining a high-level profile and trust.
• Regular forecasting of potential opportunities, providing reports for both short and long term deals.
• Identify potential new customers and engage and enable accordingly to drive incremental sales.
• Identify sales scenarios and opportunities to develop business to meet and exceed targets.
• Be adaptable and flexible to continue to meet changing business needs.
Person Requirements
• Graduate level
• Experience in Sales
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Focused and goal-oriented – ability to meet and exceed targets
• Business development experience (advantage)
• Experience with Salesforce would be beneficial
• Technical background (Networking/Fibre) is not required as support is provided by Sales Engineer but would be an advantage

They have two distinct offerings as a business, Distribution of hardware focused around connectivity Ethernet, Serial to Ethernet, Media Converters- copper to fibre to fibre to fibre and optical transceivers. These products are used mainly within critical networks by their clients with applications such as Military, Oil Gas, Telecoms, Medical, Broadcasting and OEM. The other is Field Engineering services where they offer additional resources of Field Engineers to install networks.
